PANDI - Trend ngeblog dah gak bisa disangkal lagi, dari mulai hobi sampai dengan mata pencaharian. namun untuk menjadi blog yang sukses juga nggak bakalan gampang, semua perlu proses. Banyak orang menganggap bahwa publisher (nyari duit lewat situs) enak, nggak perlu jam kantor, nggak perlu pake pakaian yang formal, yang perlu cuma komputer sama koneksi internet. tapi, apa bener itu aja.

setiap bidang apapun itu dan bagaimana bentuknya pasti memiliki kemudahan dan kesulitannya masing masing. belum lama saya mengikuti sebuah pelatihan tentang citizen journalism yang sepertinya agak mirip dengan konsep blog. seperti anda sering mendengar bagaimana banyak blogger yang dituntut, dipenjara dikarenakan tulisan mereka dalam sebuah blog.

so yang pasti kaidah jurnalistik sebenenernya perlu juga buat pengetahuan blogger. apalagi kalo udah berkaitan dengan opini. harus ada sumber sumber yang kuat. so dimana ya bisa dapet sumber belajar menulis opini yang kuat humm .. sebaiknya gw mesti mulai nyari kayaknya

akhirnya Video Tutorial gw jadi walaupun masih low quality

PANDI - Kemarin di postingan budayakan koment dalam postingan gw dah janji bakalan bikin video tutorial.. nah ini nih link video tutorial dah gw host di ziddu. filenya bentuknya zip didalemnya ada file video berformat AVI sama file notepad yang isinya code tag html yang mesti lo masukin di dalem template.. buat lebih jelasnya lo tonton aja deh :D mudah mudahan bisa ngebantu and kalo bisa dikasih feedback ya biar video tutorial depan bisa lebih bagus and perfect.

Videonya kira kira delapan menit.. pake bahasa inggris tapi .. tenang aja bahasa inggrisnya belepetan kok jadi kalo yang bisa bahasa inggris yes no doang pasti paham deh. hehehehhe.

Mimpi dan Pemimpin

PANDI - ada satu hal menarik yang gw baca dari newsletter yang gw ikutin. hehe bener banget itu yang gw jadiin judul postingan gw :) antar mimpi dan pemimpin. setiap pemimpin besar tentu punya visi yang kuat yang akan dia terapkan dan kemudian diimplementasikan menjadi misi, dan gw merasa ada satu garis kuat antara mimpi dan visi.

Visi secara literature diartikan dari penglihatan (vision) akan tetapi penglihatan yang kedepan dan bukankah mimpi juga dapat diartikan yang pada akhirnya melahirkan kata tafsir mimpi. ketika di terminalpun nggak jarang gw denger supir dan pedagang yang menanyakan mimpinya tadi malam untuk memasang togel di bandar, dan tak jarang juta supir dan pedagang di terminal itu berhasil memenangkan rupiah yang lumayan besar.

akan tetapi, tentu gw juga nggak bakaln nanya mimpi lo tadi malem buat masang togel :P . Psikologi yang termasuk Science juga tidak meremehkan apa yang disebut mimpi dan mengatakan bahwa itu adalah bentuk dari impuls-impuls id yang ditekan kemudian diproyeksikan dalam sebuah mimpi. buku lucid dream juga yakin kalo dalam tiap malam kita terus bermimpi. hingga gw percaya bahwa tiap orang memiliki mimpinya masing-masing.

bahkan ketika socrates begitu mengidamkan mimpi hingga pada akhir persidangannya yang memutuskan hukuman mati baginya dia dapat berujar, mati itu sangat natural, perbandingannya seperti tidur panjang tanpa mimpi.

the last stand of Archimedes

PANDI - Pertama sekedar mengingatkan kalo Archimedes (atau lebih dikenal dengan sebutan Archimedes dari Syracuse) itu adalah seorang tokoh philosof Yunani kuno, seorang pakar matematika yang terkenal dengan teori levernya (ind: papan jungkit). Archimedes (287-212 SM) dia terbunuh oleh seorang prajurit Romawi walaupun sebelumnya sudah ada himbauan bahwa Archimedes tidak boleh dibunuh.

Gw paling suka ama kata saktinya Archimedes "Give me a place to stand on, and I will move the Earth" Berikan saya satu tempat untuk berpijak dan saya akan pindahkan dunia. ini nih, ketika gw nonton film take down Kevin Mitnick juga pake kata kata itu sebelum dia ketangkep.

Papan jungkit dasar ini digunakan untuk meringankan beban, syarat utamanya titik jungkit harus dan tekanan yang diinginkan harus duakali panjangnya.. misalnya jarak tekanan ke titik jungkit 1 meter maka titik paksaan ke jungkit harus dua kali panjang dari titik tekanan. seperti gambar diatas. ini prinsip jungkit paling basic. contoh paling real dimana jungkit basic ini diterapin adalah kakak tua pada palu.

nah Junkit yang ini tekanannya ada ditengah, titik jungkitnya ada di paling ujung sedangkan pakasaannya ada di ujung lain. contoh realnya adalah pembuka botol.

dari mana asal bahasa sebenarnya ?

PANDI - semalem ngobrol ngobrol ama makyun (makasih dah nyumbang makalah tentang semantik di Lekompress hehe) yang baru aja maried di Bengkulu kemarin. sebelum ngobrolin masalah semantik sebenernya kita cuma ngomongin pengalaman dia di Bengkulu sambil ngopi-ngopi kayak pengalaman dia tahlilan di Bengkulu yang lama banget dan menurut dia mesti di budayain. terus mas Hendri yang abis dari Bengkel teater Rendra (diskusi katanya) nah baru dia buka pembicaraan masalah semantik kalo di buku buku umum kebanyakan ngomongin kalo bahasa itu berasal dari phonology tapi ketika ditelusuri ada pemikiran bahwa bahasa sebenernya dari tulisan dan bukan dari bunyi-bunyian. bukti yang menguatkan bahwa bahasa itu dari tulisan adalah ayat al-qur'an "Dan Dia mengajarkan kepada Adam nama-nama (benda-benda) seluruhnya". QS. Al-Baqarah (2) ayat 31. secara pasti wujud yang diikuti dengan kata merupakan bukti bahwa bahasa bermula dari bentuk tertulis.

Mas Hendri masih nggak puas dan coba membandingkan dengan zaman prahistoris dulu ketika orang berkomunikasi dengan suara suara binatang dan hal itu merupakan suatu proses meniru yang pada akhirnya terbantahkan lagi. ketika kita berbicara secara otomatis kita akan langsung me-reka benda, atau mungkin me-reka bentuk lebih tepatnya.

setiap huruf-huruf memiliki sejarah historis yang tidak sedikit dalam jazirah arab. bahkan tidak jarang yang menggunakannya untuk pengobatan (anda tentu pernah tau buku mujarobat). PANDI - We all know that Halloween is still long time ahead in 31 October annually. so the peak is the costume party. that is the main problem what costume that will you use at the costume party. maybe we talk about all-hallow-even (another word for Halloween).

The Halloween costumes is easy to find if we got the idea and things from now. So, why not you find out one idea now. still hard uh to find the fit one, now just for suggesting you. the Halloween is a full of history inside but now the trend is on the wind so why not you choose the trend Halloween costumes like starwars costumes or disney costumes. preety good if you shown up at the trick or treat as a mermaid. or the evil one the dark mimi. the starwars also have a pretty much character that you can use as a halloween costumes like dark vader, but I will love to find the Jedi costumes

So still hard to find one. I think you already have one so now what you should do is book or buy a halloween costumes enjoy the party at two month ahead

Free Culture dot Org if you know the meaning of Free

Kemarin tepat tanggal 31 Juli 2008 resmi juga akhirnya ikutan jadi anggota free culture dot org sebuah komunitas pelajar yang khusus membahas tentang budaya "gratis" akan tetapi lebih condong ke dalam pembicaraan teknologi.

tentunya tiap malem ngumpul dong, tapi bukan di ym melainkan di IRC programnya enteng tapi gila.. wakakak ternyata gw asli gaptek. program yang selama ini buat iseng iseng doang, powerful abis. baru tau saya.

nah tapi karena disitu harus bawa kampus ya gw disitu masuk di chapter UIN Jakarta. so budaya gratis itu kayak apa sih sebenernya.. gratis bukan berarti urakan and lo bebas bikin sebanyak yang lo mau walaupun boleh ya hehe (contohnya email : sesuai kebutuhan aja nggak usah bikin ampe ribuan). tapi berusaha menjaga apa yang dah lo punya.

dalam hati minder juga karena kebanyakan yang nongkrong di room free culture itu anak TI semua. si conley dari Universitas di Virginia yang dah mulai deket juga anak TI tapi waktu terakhir ngobrol ternyata dia pernah mainin sebuah screenplay (drama pendek) asal Indonesia loch dan ternyata di dalam drama pendek itu dia dan temen-temennya harus ngucapain dialog dalam bahasa Indonesia. ternyata mereka juga suka budaya kita ya.. tapi kok herannya kita nggak ngejaga budaya kita.. so mulai di jaga yoo.. :)

waduh iklannya cara cari duit mulu

PANDI - pasang iklan yang katanya bakal ngecrawl isi dari blog kita atau yang biasa disebut PPC nggak taunya nongolnya yang nggak ada hubungannya semua.. so biar temen temen enak and tahu bahwa itu iklan yang dihitung perklik, manajemen munculnya iklan blog Pandi nggak tahu menahu sama sekali gw kasih tau aja kali ya mana yang iklan and bukan di blog ini mulai dari side bar..

PANDI - when internet become a need, many of hosting company start to show up. this situation make web hosting become compete, they play with price, or speed, or bandwidth quota. The service? still on the question quote. now what you need if so many choice? personally I will need a testimony from the other user that have tried that hosting or even test it. some hosting probably have a high price, they have a good service and have and optimum server (not down every week). but who knows there is another hosting have a cheaper price but the quality good as the same like the expensive host.
